1986 Founded Tohoku Rodan as group company.
1983 Our noise filter was approved by VDE standard as first Japanese company to be approved.
1976 CR spark quencher was approved by CSA standard as first Japanese company to be approved.

Founded Taiwan Rodan Co.

1970 Listed on the Second section of the Tokyo stock exchange.
1967

Had a contract with USA IEE to be their distributor in Asian area. Company name was changed to Okaya Electric Industries, Co. Ltd.

1965

Built new factory for electronic tube in Saitama.

1961

Headead office was moved to Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Started assembling and selling USA IEE projection display

1960 Started manufacturing compact size capacitors at Okaya factory
1950 Started manufacturing MT tube
1945 Tokyo Shirogane factory was burned down by war. The factory was moved to Okaya-shi, Nagano, by Navy’s order. The company name was changed to Okaya Radio.
1944 Yasuda Insurance bought the company for expansion of the production. Started manufacturing special vacuum tube (Acon tube) for Japanese Navy.
1939 Founded “Showa Electric Industry Ltd.” In Minato-ku, Tokyo
