2001 Okaya group registered ISO9001: 2000
1998 Okaya Hong Kong Trading Ltd. is founded.
1995 China factory in Dongguan and Okaya Electric Singapore is founded
1993 Okaya Hong Kong is founded.
1989 Okaya Electric America is founded
1986 Affiliate Tohoku Rodan Co., Ltd is founded.
1983 Noise filter is VDE approved - the first for a Japanese company.
1976 CR spark quencher is CSA approved - the first for a Japanese company.
1973

Taiwan Rodan Co. is founded.

1970 Listed on the Second section of the Tokyo stock exchange.
1967

Signs contract with USA IEE to be their distributor in the Asian reigon. Company name is changed to Okaya Electric Industries, Co. Ltd.

1965

A new factory to produce electronic tubes is built in Saitama.

1961

Head office relocates to Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Assembling and selling of USA IEE projection displays starts.

1960 Production of compact size capacitors starts at the Okaya factory.
1950 Production of the MT tube starts.
1945 The Tokyo Shirogane factory is burned down by war damage. By the navy's orders the factory relocates to Okaya-shi, Nagano, . Company name is changed to Okaya Radio Co., Ltd..
1944 Yasuda Insurance acquires the company to increase production. Production of a special vacuum tube (Acon tube) for the Japanese Navy starts.
1939 Showa Electric Industry Ltd. is founded in Minato-ku, Tokyo
