What is “SCCR”?

SCCR stands for Short Circuit Current Rating, which refers to the maximum short-circuit current that a machine or control panel can withstand. UL508A, a safety standard for control panels for industrial equipment in North America, requires SCCR to be indicated.

SCCR values obtained Noise filter

In order to meet the demands of the semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry and industrial equipment in North America, we have added SCCR-compliant noise filters to our lineup.
The SCCR value of the noise filter becomes effective when a Listed certified breaker is installed upstream of the noise filter. Although it can be used with any manufacturer, in order to effectively utilize the SCCR value of the noise filter, please be sure to select a Listed certified breaker.
